The genus Caranx includes several species of smaller but popular game fish, such as the crevalle jack ( C. hippos ) of warm Atlantic waters and the yellow jack ( C. bartholomaei ), which frequents warm Atlantic waters and is noted for its golden-yellow sides and fins.
